Welcome to BHV Texas!

Barking Hound Village began in Atlanta, Ga in 1999 with one man's dream to have the absolute best place to leave his dogs.  He fulfilled his dream by adding 5 locations in the Atlanta area with the help from many people and much support.

We were part of the help and support from the beginning and eventually opened the Austin location in '03 and Dallas in '05.  We actually met through Barking Hound Village, fell in love, adopted 2 dogs and got married.

After years of dedication and hard work, we were able to purchase the Austin and Dallas locations, creating BHV Texas.  Now fulfilling our own dream, to have a fun, safe, and comfortable place for our dogs and everyone's dogs to be "their home away from home".

Whether your dog is joining BHV Texas for fun-filled hours of daycare or for a restful overnight stay, you can rest assured that we are dedicated to providing the very best experience for your four-legged visitor and that their care is always our number one priority.
